Linda L. Lee (nee Lyndes), 69, of Elyria, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013 at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation of Cleveland, after a brief illness. She was born May 7, 1944 in Elyria.
Linda worked for the Murray Ridge School as a teachers aide and was the founder of the Trinity Lutheran Pre-School. She was active in AAUW and Trinity Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. Her interests included camping, hiking, reading, singing in church, swimming, traveling and volunteering.
Survivors include her husband, Dick; daughter, Lissa (Francisco) Lopez of Elyria; son, Wade Lee of Toledo; grandchildren, Paco, Manuel and Maya Lopez; brother, Richard (Gail) Lyndes of Worthington, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Helen (nee Dumke) Lyndes; and sister, Virginia Pippert.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 10, 2013 from 5 to 8 P.M. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria and at Trinity Lutheran Church, 38307 Royalton Rd., Grafton, Wednesday, December 11, 2013 from 10:30 A.M. until time of service at 11 A.M. (please meet at the church). Pastor John Ramsey will officiate. Burial will be in Fields Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
