Howard Hudak, 90, of Columbia Station, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2013 in Keystone Pointe Nursing Home, after a short illness. He was born September 10, 1923 in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania and had lived the last three years in Columbia Station.
He had retired in 1978 from USS Steel in Lorain, where he worked with the #3 seamless mill. Mr. Hudak was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII. He served in the Philippines as a recovery operational specialist. His hobbies and interests included horse racing as he was an avid fan.
He is survived by his children. Debbie Dale of Panama City, Florida, Helen Buttrey of Nashville, Tennessee, Alex M. Hudak of Vancouver, Washington, John Hudak of Columbia Station, Bryant Hudak of Grafton and Randall Lee Hudak of Spartansburg, North Carolina; survivors also include several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Wine Hudak; and by his parents.
All services will be private and burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
