Woman hospitalized after being robbed at gunpoint

ELYRIA — A woman was injured after she said two young men robbed her at gunpoint on Foster Avenue around 7:55 p.m. Thursday.

The 20-year-old woman was hospitalized at EMH Elyria Medical Center with minor injuries, according to Herb de la Porte, LifeCare Ambulance vice president.

The men were described as teenagers with one wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt, according to police radio transmissions.

Sgt. Deena Baker said Thursday night that the men were still at large.
