Erma Pachuta Horovitz (nee Doman), of Elyria, went home to Heaven Saturday, December 7, 2013. She was born to the late Sandor and Katerine Doman on June 5, 1921. She was a lifelong resident of Elyria.
Erma had a passion for ballroom dancing, crafts and antiquing, with a love for traveling. She loved cooking for her family and friends. Her real joy was the giggling and laughing while telling stories of her youth and teaching Hungarian to her grandchildren. She was an active member of St. Mary’s Parish in Elyria.
Erma is survived by two sons, John D. Pachuta (Leslie) and Ronald R. Pachuta (Marilyn); four grandchildren, Shelly, R. Michael, Gregory and Michelle; and one great-grandchild, Nicole. She is also survived by three children and four granchildren of her late husband, Robert Horovitz.
Erma is preceded in death by her late husbands, John G. Pachuta and Robert Horovitz; her father, mother and six sisters and brothers.
Funeral Service were held Monday, December 9, 2013, at the Westwood Abbey Mausoleum Chapel in Sunset Memorial Park.
