Lorain blotter: Woman reports threat from boyfriend, doesn’t press charges

Wednesday, Dec. 18

  • 10:07 p.m. — 4700 block Willow Ave., a woman told police her boyfriend said he would kill her in a text message but she didn’t want to press charges yet.

Thursday, Dec. 19

  • 5 a.m. — 1700 block E. 30th St., someone shot out the windows of a man’s car. The man told police he thinks the suspect used a BB gun.
  • 8 a.m. — 1800 block E. 30th St., police rescued a whining dog from an abandoned house. They think he went inside to shelter himself from the cold.
  • 10:34 p.m. — 1200 block W. 39th St., a car stolen from Elyria was found parked in Lorain with a broken windshield.
