Critter Chronicles: Maple

Maple was named because she was found covered in leaves. Someone hit her with their car and left her on the side of the road. They even covered her with leaves so no one could see her. A good Samaritan called the shelter and director Greg Willey went out to rescue Maple. Maple is not fond of her cage. When she’s out, she’s the perfect lady. When she’s in her cage she is not a happy camper. Maple is a strong girl that will need a little training but she’s a good girl and smart. Stop by Friendship and check out sweet Maple.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.

My son and I have taken Maple out for a walk and my family has gone to the APL to play with her and I can tell you that she is a real sweetheart! She’ll make a great pet.
