Lindsey grew up in Elyria, and Farmville, North Carolina, graduated in 2006 from Eyria High School, and went on to achieve her Medical Assistant certification in 2007. Lindsey then pursued her career as an ophthalmic technician most recently with the Cleveland Eye Clinic in Avon.
She is survived by her loving mother, Cathryn Salmons Pietro; and stepfather, Joseph U. Pietro, Jr.; father, Martin Pazder; and brothers, Rick and Jeff, along with their families; stepbrother, Joseph Pietro III, wife, Susan and children, Wayne and Kyle; grandfather, Pearley Salmons, and wife, Willa Salmons; maternal aunts, Charlotte “Abba” Salmons, and Elaine Salmons Hendrix; aunts by choice, Becky Evans, Beverly Evans, and Mary Williams; step-aunts, Linda Pietro Vick and husband, Stanley Vick, and Cathy Pietro Ellington and husband, Bill Ellington; cousins, Angelena Salmons, Nathaniel Salmons, Jordan Hendrix, Darlene Vick, Stan Vick and wife, Hope Vick, and Amber Ellington; second cousins Allie, Serena, Jordan, Taylor, and Kaylee; and her loves, Jason Clapp and Molly, her cat.
Lindsey was preceded in death by her grandmother, Darlene Carroll Salmons step-grandmother, Ina Jane Baker Salmons, “Grandma Pinky,”; grandfather, Richard Pazder; and uncle, Christopher Pazder.
Visiting hours will be held at Farmville Funeral Home, 4226 East Church St., Farmville, North Carolina, Sunday, December 22, 2013, from 7 until 9 P.M. Services will be held Monday at 2 P.M., at the funeral home, with graveside service following.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to a domestic violence or animal rescue charitable organization.
