The following roads in Lorain are closed because of flooding:

  • Tower Boulevard from Oberlin Avenue to Edgewood Drive
  • West 41st Street from Ashland Avenue to Edgewood Drive
  • West 40th Street from Ashland Avenue to Edgewood Drive
  • West 39th Street from Ashland Avenue to Edgewood Drive
  • Ashland Avenue from Tower Boulevard to West 42nd Street
  • Longbrook Road from Kolbe Road to Yorktown Road

nothing unusual, we pay a small fortune for sewers and we still have to deal with flooding, there has been enough collected to replace all the sewers

It could have nothing to do with the fact that it has been raining for 3 days. It is not always the bureaucracy’s fault. LOL.

      • Larry Crnobrnja

That area has flooded for years whenever there were heavy rains. While there is nothing you can really do about those 100 year rains, the city is responsible for providing adequate service for handling normal conditions.

There is a ditch or creek that the city wont clean out in columbus park which
is now called Campana park that causes that flooding every year.
If I lived there I would take pictures and sue the city.
