Linda K. Rodak (nee Tite), 61, of Elyria, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2013 at New Life Hospice of St. Joseph in Lorain, following a lengthy illness. She was born to Sterling and Mary Tite (nee Cornish) of North Eaton on August 9, 1952.
Linda graduated from Midview High School in 1970 and Oberlin School of Commerce in 1971. She attended Lorain County Community College. She had been employed by Invacare Corporation since 1971. Linda was a devoted member of the North Eaton Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) for nearly 50 years, serving not only as an Elder, but also as chairperson of the Memorial Committee, member of the choir, and member of Rebekah Circle. She was a Life Member of VFW Post #1079 Auxiliary.
Mrs. Rodak is survived by her mother, Mary Tite; son, Nicholas (Staci Knight); and grandson, Matthew of Elyria; sister, Nancy Cochran (Mark); niece, Jeremie Wicks (Thomas); and nephew, Justin Cochran (Lise) of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her father, Sterling Tite (2000).
Friends may call from 2 to 4 P.M. and 6 to 8 P.M., Friday, December 27, 2013 at Busch Funeral Home, 114 Second St., Elyria. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the North Eaton Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 35895 Royalton Rd., Grafton. Rev. Charles Butcher will officiate.
