Bug was an electrician for Smink Electric. He had served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Bug loved spending time with his family and friends, he was known for his heart of gold, and had a strong faith in God. Bug was a workaholic and was also a great mechanic.
Survivors include his wife, Nicole L. (nee Meador), they were blessed with 21 years; his daughter, Caitlin R. Hepler; additional survivors include his parents, Stuart R. Jr. and Darlene A. (nee Nofzinger) Hepler of Amherst; brother, Keith Hepler and his fiancee, Tracy Thompson of Elyria; grandmother, Gladys Hepler of Maryland; father-in-law and mother-in-law, David and Brenda Meador of LaGrange; sister-in-law, Liann Hartman (Tom) of Garrettsville, Ohio; uncles, Lonnie Nofzinger of Lakewood and Donald Hepler of Maryland; nieces, Rebekah and Abigail Hepler, Meghan and Brett Hartman; and nephew, Gregory Hepler; best friend, Todd Hubbell; and many great friends.
Memorial services will be Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 1 P.M. at A Fresh Wind Church, 1115 Milan Ave., Amherst. The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. until time of services at 1 P.M. Reverend Tim Holt, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will be private.
The family requests that memorial contributions in Bug’s memory be sent to the church for his daughter, Caitlin.
