Harry was most recently a resident of The Abbewood. He served with the United States Air Force and was a supervisor for FAA in Oberlin. He was member of St. Jude Church, Alcoholics Anonymous since 1986, the American Legion Post 12 and NARFE. Harry was an avid sports fan, particularly enjoying the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates and Penguins.
He is survived by one daughter, Pamela (Eric) Miller of Lorain; a sister, Diana Cochran of Clarksburg, Maryland; a sister-in-law, Frances Cox of Washington, Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores J. (nee Grillo) in 2011; and a brother, David Cox.
Friends will be received at the Reichlin Roberts Funeral Home, 327 Cleveland Street, Elyria, Thursday, January 2, 2014 from 4 to 8 P.M. AA will have a service in the funeral home at 7:45 P.M. Funeral services will be in the funeral home Friday, January 3, 2014, at 10 A.M., with the Reverend Father Frank P. Kosem, Pastor, officiating. Entombment, with full military honors provided by the VFW, Post 1079, will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
