Antonio was a graduate of Elyria High School, Class of 2010. He enjoyed playing cards, dominoes, casinos, cooking and spending time with his children.
Mr. Spraggins is survived by his daughter, Ramiyah Spraggins; and son, Antonio M. Spraggins, Jr. of Elyria; mother, Aretha S. Spraggins of New Whiteland, Indiana; father, Tony O. Carter, Sr. of Elyria; siblings, Diontay Spraggins of Elyria, Diara Moody of Elyria, Vanetta Blackwell (Thad) of Winchester, Tennessee, Karla Robinson of Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Antwan Carter (Krista) of Elyria, Candis Williams of Elyria, Antionette Howze (Nate) of Elyria, Siarres Noble of Elyria, Tony O. Carter, Jr. of Elyria, Rolando Carter of Elyria; maternal grandfather, Darnell Spraggins, Sr. of Elyria; paternal grandmother, Mary E. Hill; and maternal great-grandmother, Mary Smith of Elyria.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Alijah Noble; grandmother, Birtie Spraggins; maternal great-grandfather, Earl Smith, Sr.; maternal great-grandfather, Rev. Cornelius Spraggins; and great-grandmother, Lucy Spraggins; aunt, Jacqueline Hill; and uncle, Tony Smith.
Friends may call 4 until 8 P.M., Sunday, January 12, 2014, at Busch Funeral Home, 114 Second Street, Elyria, and 10 until 11 A.M., Monday, January 13, 2014, at New Bethel Primitive Baptist Church, 3880 Dayton Avenue, Lorain. Funeral service will begin at 11 A.M., at the church. Pastor Darnell Spraggins will officiate. Interment will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
