Critter Chronicles: Misty

misty-hounds

Misty originally was rescued as an older pup and quickly found a home.  She proved to be too strong for her petite caregiver and was returned.  Misty has all of her house manners and is housetrained.  She would be pest as the only pet in a home but could possibly be fine with a larger submissive dog.  She should not go to a home with cats.  Misty can only go to a caregiver who has experience with large strong dogs who made be head strong.  She will also need a secure fenced in yard.  Misty is a sweet girl who cannot figure out what has happened to her.  She will make a loving companion to someone willing to work with her and let her know what is and is not acceptable.  She does want to please, she just needs to be shown the way.  Misty does know some basic commands and would excel  with having a job to do or possibly some agility.  She needs something that will build her confidence.  If someone had a suitable environment and would be willing to foster, that would also help.  Right now she is not getting the attention she needs.
