LORAIN — Lorain police executed search and arrest warrants for an alleged heroin trafficker on Wednesday.
About 10 a.m., Tirell Allen, 25, was charged with possession of heroin, trafficking heroin, endangering children, having weapons under disability and receiving stolen property at his house on the 1400 block of Massachusetts Avenue.
Allen’s arrest came after a two-week investigation into alleged drug activity. Lorain police said Allen was trafficking heroin on the city’s east side, according to police Sgt. Tom Nimon.
When they searched Allen’s house Wednesday morning, police found $4,000 worth of heroin, two guns — one of which was reported stolen in Painesville almost seven years ago — money and criminal tools. Along with the drugs, guns and criminal tools, police found Allen’s live-in girlfriend and infant son and subsequently charged him with child endangerment.
Allen was taken to Lorain City Jail, where he was being held without bond.
