Barbara E. Lockridge, 69, of Elyria passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014 in the New Life Hospice Residential Center in Lorain following a long illness. She was born January 10, 1945 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and had lived in Indiana, Oklahoma and Ohio.
She had retired from Palm Crest East Nursing Home in Elyria where she worked as an LPN. She was a member of the Grafton United Methodist Church and enjoyed the Bible Studies at the church. Her hobbies included cooking, puzzles, crocheting, computer games and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Lockridge; daughters, Michelle (Justin ) Gough of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Shana (Scott) Stonestreet of Elyria; and by her son, Robert Doll of Elyria.
Survivors also include her grandchildren, Ean, Tanner, Payton, Benjamin, Molly, Emily; and sisters, Norma Omler and Sherry Lecinski.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bob Doll; her parents, Alex and Gertrude Lecinski; brother, Michael; and sister, Sylvia.
Friends may call in the Grafton United Methodist Church, 973 Mechanic St. Grafton on Saturday, January 25, 2014 from 1 P.M. until the time of a Memorial Service at 3 P.M. Rev. Delaine McGhee, pastor, with officiate. A fellowship luncheon will follow.
