Critter Chronicles: Louise

louise-hounds

Louise’s needs are a little different and are special ones.  She was rescued from the Lorain County Dog Kennel in November with tumors. We decided to still take her. Her tumors have tested positive for cancer but we have decided to try to do whatever we can for this precious girl.  She is scheduled for surgery on Thursday to have the tumors removed and will be spayed at that time.  (Pending normal blood work).  This could cure her but possibly not.  So we are in dire need of a foster or forever home for this girl, she may be with us for six months or she may be with us for three years.  We just want her to have a home for whatever time is left.  She is currently showing no signs of having cancer.  Louise gets along fine with cats but will need a low key dog only.  She will need time to adjust to a dog but it can be done.  She has been good around older children she has met.  Louise can be left with the run of the house while you work and is housetrained if left out as necessary.  We would like her to have a fenced in yard since she does like to explore.  She’s a beautiful girl with a lot of love to give someone.
