Critter Chronicles: Stony (Porter)

stonycrop-hounds

Stony (Porter) has quite a sad story to tell.  We heard about his plight of living under someone’s porch for over a year, although thankfully, he was at least getting fed.  We decided to try to help him and what we found was a wonderful, loving dog with a great personality. Unfortunately, he also tested positive for heartworm and was treated, he is now fine.   He gets along great with other dogs and we believe fine with cats.  He was in a home with children in the 10-13 year old range and did well.  Stony is fully housetrained and can be left with the run of the house while you work.  He’s a great boy in the car and enjoys car rides.  Stony had been adopted in November and because of personal issues involving the family, I am now getting him back. They are very sad to have to give him up but the circumstances are out of their control.  Stony will make an awesome companion and is one of those well behaved dogs who can go everywhere.
