Critter Chronicles: Caramel

caramel-hounds

Caramel is just another sweet girl looking for love.  She is wonderful with all people and can be good with other dogs as long as there is a proper introduction and the dog is not in her face.  The same is true of cats.  We believe Caramel will be good with older children (10-12 years) as long as they are respectful of her.  Caramel has spent time with a professional trainer so she does know all of her basic commands and walks nicely on a leash.  A free training session with be provided to a new adopter so they will follow what she has learned.  Caramel is almost completely housebroken.  We would prefer that Caramel has a fenced in yard and it must be a 6 foot one, she can jump a 4 foot fence.  The other possibility is a long tie out for her when she is outside if no fence.  Caramel will need a daily walk to keep her exercised.  She was originally rescued from the Lorain County Dog Kennel.  Caramel did have an adopter but found out they were allergic to her, they only had good things to say about her.
