Critter Chronicles: Gabe

gabe-hounds

Gabe is just about as sweet as they come.  He is such a well-behaved boy who gets along with everyone.  He is good with other dogs and is fine with cats, he’s just happy to be with you. He has a remarkable personality but we have never had him around children so best if any children are 12 years or older.  Gabe came to us when his caregiver fell on hard times and could not care for him.  He came to us suffering from a terrible flea allergy and after a thorough exam by our vets, it was found he does have a thyroid issue.  This is a minor inconvenience and an inexpensive one as well.  All that is needed is a pill in the morning and one in the evening.  The pills are very inexpensive.  Gabe is currently in a foster home with a few canine companions so he does have all of his house manners and he is housetrained.  He’s a good boy in the car and is at that great age where he can be left with the run of the house while you work.  Gabe has become accustomed to a fenced-in yard and would like one in his new home.  He will need daily exercise in the form of a walk.  Gabe will make a wonderful best friend and companion, he’s so well behaved he should be able to accompany you many places.
