Joyce M. Garlow (nee Neate), 81, of North Ridgeville, died Saturday, February 1, 2014, at Ames Hospice of the Western Reserve, Westlake. She was born May 9, 1932 in Lakewood, and lived in North Ridgeville for the past 12 years, coming from Fairview Park.
She graduated from Lakewood High School, and was a waitress in several restaurants on the west side of Cleveland, but worked many years at Pat-Joyce’s Restaurant. She enjoyed gardening and reading.
She is survived by five children, Linda (Victor) Corrigan, Cheri (Mark) Dudziak, Dale (Karen) Collins, Justin Collins, and Brian (Cherryle) Irwin; 11 grandchildren, Heidi, Todd, Eric, Stacy, Abe, Allen, Alexis, Dakota, Jamie, Danielle, and Tyler; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Collins.
Friends will be received Tuesday, February 4, 2014, 6 until 9 P.M., at the Misencik Funeral Home, 36363 Detroit Rd., Avon, where a parlor service will be Wednesday, February 5, 2014, at 10 A.M. Interment will follow in Lakewood Park Cemetery, Rocky River.
