Last week, The Chronicle-Telegram gave away a Duck Tape Craft Kit to one of our Facebook fans. The winner was Krissy Bowden, a first-grade teacher at Lear North Elementary in North Ridgeville.

Bowden said her class has been talking about the importance of friendship, so she used the kit as part of the lesson.

She said each student was randomly given another student’s name, and they spent time during indoor recess using the Duck Tape to make gifts for one another.

“The students loved the duck tape and the fun things they could do with it,” she said. ” They keep asking if they can make more tomorrow.”
