3 injured in LaGrange Twp. crash

LAGRANGE TWP. — Three people were hurt after troopers said a teenager drove left of center and collided with an oncoming pickup Thursday.

About 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Chad Falatic, 17, of LaGrange, was driving a 2003 Ford Windstar minivan on state Route 303 when he crossed the center line and struck a 2009 Silverado pickup driven by Matthew Stefanik, 41, of South Amherst, according to the Ohio Highway Patrol.

Stefanik, Falatic and Stefanik’s passenger, Christopher Lockyer, 34, of Oberlin, were injured. Lockyer was treated and released from Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland. Police on Thursday night didn’t have information on whether Falatic or Stefanik were hospitalized or where. All three were wearing seat belts and alcohol was not considered a factor in the crash, troopers said.
