Pamela A. Shrigley (nee Andress), 81, of Henrietta, passed away Friday, February 21, 2014, at Amherst Manor, after a lingering illness. She was born in Oberlin, October 14, 1932, to the late Fred E. and Mary (nee Moser) Andress.
Pamela was a graduate of Henrietta High School and was a member of Henrietta United Methodist Church. In the past, she owned and operated Henrietta Schoolhouse Antiques. For several year she featured her pieces at Jamie’s Flea Market, South Amherst. Pamela enjoyed playing cards and, along with her husband, Billy, square dancing.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Billy D. Shrigley; daughters, Patti J. Barnhart (husband Bruce) of Amherst and Sherri A. Paquin (husband Rick) of Guelph, Ontario; granddaughters, Stacey Schuler (husband Larry) of Amherst and Shannon Barnhart of Florida; four stepgrandchildren, Ricky and Ryan Paquin and Adam and Glen Mingo; her greatgrandchildren, who were the light of her life, Addison and Alexa Schuler; and four stepgrandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Pamela was preceded in death by her sister. Nancy Baker.
Family will receive friends Monday, February 24, 2014, 4 until 8 P.M., at the Garland-Misencik Funeral Home, 851 Park Avenue, Amherst. The funeral service will be 11 A.M., Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at Henrietta United Methodist Church, 52148 Telegraph Road (S.R. 113), Henrietta. Pastor Armando Arellano will officiate. Burial will follow in Birmingham Cemetery.
