Yvonne Hoyt, 80, of Grafton, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2014, in the Keystone Pointe Nursing & Rehab Center in LaGrange, after a short illness. She was born February 4, 1934, in Parkersburg, West Virginia and lived in the Grafton area since 1955.
She was a member of the Grafton United Methodist Church and the VFW Auxiliary of Grafton Post #3341. She had retired from Keystone School System from the custodial department. She enjoyed bowling, camping and sewing.
She is survived by her sons, Christopher Hoyt of Grafton, Gregory Hoyt of Wakeman and Paul Hoyt of North Carolina. Survivors also include sisters, Betty Gorby of Aurora, Phyllis Gainer, Nancy Dean, Rebecca Caplinger, Darleen Wilson all of Parkersburg, West Virginia; and brother, David Rhodes, also of Parkersburg; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles in 1991; and sons, Mark, Charlie and Michael.
Friends may call Tuesday, February 25, 2014, from 11 A.M., until time of services at 2 P.M., in the Blackburn-Duke Funeral Home, 1021 Main St., Grafton. Reverend Delaine McGhee, Pastor of the Grafton United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Nesbett Cemetery, Grafton Township.
