Dana Jason Trumble (Zimmerman) born October 15, 1969 in Cleveland, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 23, 2014, as a result of an automobile accident on Rt. 6 in Cherry Valley, over railroad tracks, where he was not wearing a seat belt. He was 44.
He was a kind, loving, gentle soul loved by family, friends, co-workers, supervisors and all the patients he meticulously cared for throughout many years. He attended Midview School System, Grafton, where he lived for most of his life. He had been working on his laboratory technician degree at LCCC, where he was asked to join the Honor Society. He graduated from Ohio Police Academy, achieving the Top Gun Award and tested in the top five percent in the nation.
He is survived by his parents, Bryce E. and Cynthia (Laughery) Trumble of Texas; his beloved children, Shane A. of Texas (Lacy M. Kuhn), Brandon Norrell of California, Spencer and Deavan of Ohio, Dana Shellbie of Michigan; brothers, David (Julie) of Bradford, Pennsylvania, Scott (Michelle) of Centerburg, Ohio; aunts, Judith Shobey and Debbie Zimmerman-Cuevas; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Geraldine “Mingo” Almes and Jonathan; step grandfather, Bill (PePa); his surrogate grandfather, Paul; birth father, Fred Zimmerman; and both his paternal grandparents; and uncle, Mark.
Graveside services will be at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery, 4700 Broadview Rd., (216) 351-1476, Friday, February 28, 2014 at 12 Noon, where his ashes will be placed with his beloved grandmother, Mingo, who also died February 23, 2010. Memorial Services will be officiated by Mr. Steve Amadon (Missionary), who reached out to Dana and encouraged his Bible studies. Final farewell Praise by Debbie Zimmerman- Cuevas.
