Woman struck and killed by train identified

ELYRIA — A 46-year-old Elyria woman was fatally struck by a train around 9:45 p.m. Saturday on South Abbe Road near Cleveland Street.

Lisa Harper, of the 300 block of Broad Street, died in an apparent suicide, according to Stephen Evans, Lorain County coroner.
