Emilia O. Lafferty

Lafferty_EmiliaEmilia O. Lafferty (nee Oliveros), 41, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014 at the Cleveland Clinic, following a sudden illness. She was born in Koronadal City, Philippines and had been a resident of LaGrange for the past three years, moving from Grafton.

She worked as a nurse’s aide for assisted living for Our Lady of the Wayside in Avon. Emilia was a member of the Philippine American Association. She loved to cook and spend time with her family. She was a Parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Peace and also attended the Church of the Open Door.

Survivors include her husband, Jeff (Floyd) Lafferty; children, Princess, Christine, Jenni, Brandon and Cassandra; parents, Florencia and Flordliza Oliveros; brothers, Bobby and Gilbert Oliveros; sister, Fapima Lacse, all of Koronadal City, Philippines.

Friends may call Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 12 Noon until time of Mass at 1 P.M. in Our Lady Queen of Peace, 708 Erie St.. Grafton. Rev. John P. Seabold will officiate. Friends may also call Friday, March 7, 2014 from 6 P.M. until time of prayer service at 7:45 P.M. in Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd. North Ridgeville. Pastor Stephen Carter will officiate. Burial will be in Wayne Co., West Virginia, Monday, March 10, 2014.
