Harry worked as a talented self employed carpenter. He enjoyed playing guitar, and doing mechanical work on cars. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Carol J. (nee Riffe); a daughter, Lori A. Beckwith (Patrick) of Sheffield Township. Additional survivors include a granddaughter, Holly Taylor of Elyria; three sisters, Dorothy Harvey (Bud) of Rock Island, Tennessee, Freda Harris of Mentor, Treva Yeary (Cyrus) of Lorain; and a brother, Alfred Arnett of Napa, California.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Reverend James Dallard Arnett and Drush Neil Arnett (nee Pace); and a brother, Wayne Arnett.
Family will receive friends 1 until 4 P.M., Saturday, March 8, 2014, at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria (440)322-4626, where funeral services will be at 4 P.M., immediately following visitation. Reverend Chris Robinson, of New Life Hospice, will officiate. Burial will be private.
