Highway patrol arrests 29 during St. Patrick’s Day weekend

The Ohio State Highway Patrol said arrests were slightly above average during the four-day St. Patrick’s Day weekend.

Troopers made 19 operating a vehicle impaired arrests and 10 drug-related arrests in Lorain County between Friday and Monday, with Saturday and Monday being the busiest nights, Sgt. Tim Hoffman said.

He said there were no major drug- or alcohol-related crashes over the weekend.
