Sally Kight (Park), 75, died Monday, March 17, 2014, in Kettering, Ohio, after an extended illness. Sally lived in the Lorain/Huron County area until 2012. She was born October 4, 1938, in Lodi, to Frank and Leona Park (Niskey).
Sally volunteered time with the Lorain County Election Board and participated in a women’s sorority, Beta Sigma Phi. Sally enjoyed flea markets, bowling, playing cards, and family activities.
She is survived by daughters, Kimberly Dakin of Kettering and Kelly Kight Roderick of Birmingham, Alabama; granddaughter, Allison Fry; and great-grandson, Christopher Stitzer of Orlando, Florida; brother, Richard Park of Boise, Idaho. Sally also enjoyed an extended family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Everett Park, and her mother, Leona Victoria Park; as well as her brother, Kenneth Wayne Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Carlisle Reservation on Diagonal Road, LaGrange.
