Critter Chronicles: Harley

Meet happy Harley. Harley is a somewhat shy but very sweet fellow that was surrendered to Friendship because his family was moving out of state. Harley is great with adults and teenagers. His former owner said is not a lover of other dogs or cats so it would be best if he were an only pet. He’s not aggressive at all toward them at the shelter, he just doesn’t want to live in a home with them. Harley was a sweet boy with his family and he’s been a super sweet boy since he’s been at Friendship. He loves Abby a 12 year old volunteer that comes in to spend time and brush him. Harley has manners in the house and is a great car rider. He is now one of the dogs that represents Friendship at the local nursing homes. The seniors love when he visits.  Stop by and take a look at Harley. Once you meet him, you will love him.

If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
