David R. Kuchenmister

Kuchenmister_DavidDavid R. Kuchenmister, 25, of Elyria, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at MetroHealth Medical Center, following a long battle with ALS. He was born February 27, 1989 in Elyria and had been a lifelong resident.

He enjoyed fishing, off roading and RCA racing models.

He is survived by his mother, Tina Morton of Elyria; step father, Tim Morton of Elyria; his girlfriend, Ashley Hoff of Garfield Heights; maternal grandmother, Betty Hudson of Elyria; step grandparents, David and Marsha Morton of Lorain; survivors also include five sisters, Brittney McCarthy, Amber McCarthy, Courtney Morton, Haley Morton, Jamie Morton, all of Elyria; one brother, Dylan Morton of Elyria; aunt, Brenda Hudson; uncles, Jerome Kuchenmeister of Heath, Texas, Allan Lee of Vermilion, Ronnie Hudson of Elyria, Joey Hudson of Lorain, Bobby Hudson of Cincinnati and Michael Hudson of Elyria.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Lewis in 1988.

Friends may call in the Blackburn-Duke Funeral Home, 1021 Main St., Grafton, Monday, March 31, 2014 from 5 P.M. until services at 7 P.M. Larry Byerly will officiate.
