Critter Chronicles: River

River was rescued alongside a road and no one ever came looking for her. We believe she did not have a good life and was probably tied outside. River spent a good deal of time in a foster home which she recently lost and has learned all her house manners. She is house-trained and crate-trained. River gets along great with other dogs and she is OKwith cats with a proper introduction. Children should be a little older, 12 and up due to her size. River is great in the car and is an enjoyable co-pilot. We would prefer River has a fenced-in yard to be able to exercise as she pleases, she will need a daily walk and exercise. River will need a confident caregiver who can let her know she has nothing to fear in meeting new people. She’s an awesome girl who wants to be in a home and not a kennel. We would love even an offer for a foster home.
