Elyria blotter: Resident cited after admitting to moving car

  • 12:35 a.m. — 1100 block Garden St., Jamilah Reed, 32, same address, issued citations for criminal mischief and driving under suspension. Police said Reed, who has a suspended license, admitted to moving an abandoned car in her driveway to reposition it to jump start another car in the driveway. The backyard had deep ruts from the car being moved.
  • 2:45 a.m. — 200 block Bath St., a woman said she argued with her boyfriend and when she asked him to leave her home, he elbowed her in the face, causing her lip to bleed. The man, whose name was blocked out of a police report, was charged with domestic violence but not arrested.
