Man hospitalized after crashing motorbike during jump

LORAIN — A 35-year-old man was seriously injured when he crashed his motorbike while doing a jump around 7:30 p.m. Sunday, according to Fire Department and LifeCare Ambulance officials.

The accident occurred about 1,000 feet behind 3990 Globe Ave., near the East 36th Street intersection by a water tower, according to Assistant Chief Dennis Livchak.

The unidentified man complained of arm, back, leg and neck injuries.

He was hospitalized at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, according to Herb de la Porte, LifeCare vice president.
