Michael was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School in Connecticut. He worked for Moen as a sales forecast analyst for 32 years. Michael loved golfing, traveling, baseball and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan, and especially loved spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Lin (nee Vonya); daughter, Lisa (Lance) Fischer of Fort Wright, Kentucky; son, Michael of Cleveland; grandson, Nate Fischer; granddaughter, Lexi Fischer; brothers, James (Dorothy) of Stratford, Connecticut, Dennis of Waterbury, Connecticut, and Terry of Monroe, Connecticut; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Pauline (nee Krisavage).
Family will receive friends 5 until 8 P.M., Monday, April 21, 2014, at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria 440-322-4626, where a Celebration of Michael’s life will be held at 10 A.M., Tuesday, April 22, 2014, in the funeral home. Private burial will be at Brookdale Cemetery.
