She was a 1941 graduate of Lorain High School. Betty was employed at Parker Hannifin, as a machine operator, for 30 years, before retiring in 1986. She was a member of Hungarian Reformed Church, and enjoyed playing cards, dancing, and golfing.
Betty is survived by her sons, Charles Lee Thompson of Jacksonville, Florida and James Roy (Eleonora) Thompson of Lorain; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Frank Nandori of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, in 1993.
The family will receive friends for a Memorial Service Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at 11 A.M., at the Hungarian Reformed Church, 1691 East 31st Street, Lorain. The Reverend Peter L. Toth, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
