Dorothy L. Gochenour Kihle, 90, of Luray, died Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at Whispering Pines in Luray. She was born August 1, 1923 in Luray and was a daughter of the late Jacob Roy Cave and Mary Jenkins Cave.
On July 5, 1942, she married Reuben Gochenour, who died December 1, 1966. She married Sid Kihle on October 18, 1986. He died May 13, 2012.
She is survived by three daughters, Julia Parlett, Sandy Cave and Connie Parlett, all of Luray; son, Rick Gochenour of Sheffield Lake; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Gary and R. Dougie Gochenour; four sisters, Pauline Mary “Pean” Johnson, Ruth Buracker, Hazel C. Gochenour and Catherine C. Jenkins; and four brothers, George A., J. Lynn, Melvin William and Denton Cave.
A funeral service was conducted at 11 A.M., Friday, April 25, 2014 at the Antioch Independent Bible Church by Pastor Frank Painter. Burial was in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Luray.
