Suzanne R. “Sue” Justy (nee Cordy), quietly passed away just hours before her 90th birthday, with her family at her side on Friday, April 25, 2014 at the Lifecare Center of Medina. She was born April 26, 1924 in Grafton and was a lifelong Grafton resident.
A dedicated wife and mother, Sue was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Grafton, she served as treasurer of the Alter and Rosary Society of the former Assumption Catholic Church and enjoyed sewing, working word puzzles and her pet birds.
Survivors include her sons, Kevin (Seny) Justy of Niceville, Florida, Michael Justy and Paul (Cathy) Justy, both of Grafton; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Marge Cordy of Strongsville and Theresa “Tess” Reisinger of Grafton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Dick” Justy in 2005; daughter, Barbara “BJ” Whitmore; and a brother, Don Cordy.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 30, 2014 in the gathering area of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church from 10 A.M. until the time of a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. The Rev. Fr. John P. Seabold, Pastor, will be the Celebrant. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Grafton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Crossroads Hospice, 9775 Rockside Rd., Valley View, OH 44125.
