Elyria police: Woman charged with theft from Drug Mart

  • 11:15 a.m. — 4900 Midway Mall, a man told police he was trying to finish a phone call, not steal, when he was issued a citation for leaving Sears without paying for his items.
  • 4:21 p.m. — Sixth Street, a woman said her 6-year-old daughter was walking with her siblings when she sat down on a curb and a man came toward her. The girl ran off before he got to her, according to police.
  • 6:50 p.m. — 110 Chestnut Commons Drive, Lindsey Mae Boley-Ursem, 34, was charged with theft after she left Drug Mart with items she hadn’t paid for.
  • 9 p.m. — 900 block E. Broad St., a woman told police that family members of someone she knows have been sending threatening text messages.
