Christopher L. “Tex” Robinette

ROBINETTE_CHRISTOPHERChristopher L. “Tex” Robinette, 31, of Elyria, passed away unexpectedly Monday,  April 28, 2014. Christopher was born June 13, 1982 in Woodward, Oklahoma.

He loved spending time with his family and friends. Christopher was known by many for his heart of gold. He was an avid race care fan.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Tammy Sue (nee Mills) and John M. Walsh of Elyria; his father, Brian Robinette of Houston, Texas; maternal grandmother and stepgrandfather, Wanda and Dennis W. Queen of North Ridgeville; maternal grandfather, Ralph Mills of Morgantown, West Virginia; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Christopher was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Gene and Audrey Robinette.

Family will receive friends 4 until 7 P.M., Thursday, May 1, 2014, at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria (440) 322-4626. Memorial services will be 11 A.M., Friday, May 2, 2014, at Lakeview Freewill Baptist Church, 12025 South Durkee Rd., Grafton. Pastor Mike Richards will officiate. (Please meet at the church).
