Brian A. Weaver, 53, and a resident of Wakeman, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Mercy New Life Hospice, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Lorain, January 22, 1961 to the late George C. Weaver and Shirley E. (nee Yount).
Brian was a 1979 graduate of Lorain High School. For several years he was employed in the restaurant industry. He was the northeast Ohio regional manager for Wendy’s and later was a general manager for Taco Bell, Sandusky. Brian loved the Cleveland Browns and Ohio State University football teams. He enjoyed cooking shows on television and most of all, spending time with his family.
Survivors include his five children, Jennifer (Tim) Bradley of Elyria, Brenda (Justin) Chaffin of Lorain, Brian M., Bradley, and Brittany Weaver, all residing in Norwalk; a grandson, Evan Bradley; his mother and stepfather, Shirley (George) Bills-Moriarty of Sheffield Village; two sisters, Kathleen Kirsch (Albert Rodriguez) of Lorain and Linda Rodriguez-Reyes of Lorain; and his brother, Richard (Jennifer) Weaver of North Olmsted.
Brian was preceded in death by his father, George C. Weaver (1996); and his stepfather, Roy Bills (1992).
Family will receive friends Wednesday, May 7, 2014 from 4 to 8 P.M. at the Garland-Misencik Funeral Home, 851 Park Avenue, Amherst. The funeral service will be Thursday, May 8 at 11 A.M. at the funeral home followed by burial in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
