William D. Yucha

OBIT FLAGWilliam D. Yucha, 84, lifelong resident of Elyria, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center. He was born April 9, 1930.

William graduated from Elyria High School, class of 1948. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict/War. He was employed by Moen Inc. (formerly Standadyne of Elyria) in the factory/assembly division. He was a member of the American Legion Post #12 of Elyria and St. Mary Church in Elyria.

Mr. Yucha is survived by his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Ethel Noster, Rosemary Suetta and Helen Yucha; parents, Steve and Susan Yucha (nee Topoly).

Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M., Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Busch Funeral Home, 114 Second Street, Elyria. Prayers will be 10:15 A.M., Monday, May 19, 2014 in the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial 11 A.M. at St. Mary Church, Elyria. Father Charles Diedrick will officiate. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Elyria.
