LORAIN — A Lorain man is due in court today after being accused of badly beating another city man outside a home in the 300 block of West 32nd Street about 8 p.m. Saturday.

Brian Pierce, 26, same address, was arrested and charged with felonious assault and domestic violence. Pierce fought with Jason Peak, the fiance of Jennifer Pierce, Brian Pierce’s sister, according to police Officer Chris Payne’s report.

Jennifer Pierce said her brother became angry over their mother having to clean cat feces off Jennifer Pierce’s children rather than Jennifer Pierce doing the cleaning. When Peak arrived at the home, Jennifer Pierce said Brian Pierce flipped Peak over a back porch railing, knocking Peak out.

Peak, 39, of the 3300 block of Lexington Avenue, sustained a broken nose and an eye and head injury, Payne said. Peak was treated and released Sunday from MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland, according to a nursing supervisor.
