Marcia A. Williams (nee Welty), 63, of Grafton, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014, at her home, following a long illness. She was born May 30, 1950 in Pensacola, Florida, and was a Grafton resident for most of her life.
Marcia was most recently employed in the accounting department at the Alco Manufacturing Co. in Elyria. Prior to that, she worked at the R.W. Beckett Company in North Ridgeville for many years. A 1968 Elyria high School graduate, she enjoyed golfing, bowling, gardening and riding her motorcycle.
Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Donald; daughter, Jennifer (Mickey) Palinchik of Westlake; sons, Donnie Williams of Bay Village, Matt Stephens of Elyria and Ray Stephens of Grafton; grandchildren, Marin and Mikayla; brothers, John Welty of Sullivan and Patrick Welty of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Margaret Welty.
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 22, 2014, 5 until 8 P.M., at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria. Services will be Friday May 23, 2014, at 1:30 P.M., in the funeral home. The Reverend Roger Loomis, Chaplain of Crossroads Hospice, will officiate. Burial will be at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
