Megan Boyer was indicted by a federal grand jury in April on child pornography charges, according to court documents released Wednesday. Boyer was charged in March by North Ridgeville police with illegal use of a minor.
Police arrested Boyer on Feb. 15 after they said they found her with the 15-year-old boy and his 17-year-old sister. The two had run away from home and were reported missing Jan. 21.
Boyer was on probation for a 2012 aggravated robbery conviction at the time of the arrest. A copy of the indictment said the boy was her accomplice.
The boy said Boyer was a friend of some of his mother’s friends. He said he agreed to make a sex video with her. Images of the two having sex were found on a digital card from Boyer’s phone, according to the indictment.
