Critter Chronicles: Penny-Prison Graduate

Penny has just returned from several months of training at the Grafton Correctional Institute. She is a proud prison graduate. She spent her time learning skills in obedience, basic commands, manners and proper leash walking. Penny is now available for adoption and waiting for her forever home. Please don’t make her wait too long. Penny needs to continue to keep practicing the skills she’s learned so well. Please pick Penny … she’s priceless! Penny is a happy go lucky Jack that loves everyone she meets. She’s an energetic, friendly girl that’s 7 years old – that’s young for a Jack. They are tireless loyal dogs that love to be part of family activities. Penny would love to find a loving family to call her own. She would probably be best as an only pet. She likes some dogs but not others and not a lover of cats. Penny is the “go-to” dog when one is needed to represent Friendship at an event. She loves visiting the seniors at the nursing home.

If you have older kids in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
