Jeffrey Todd Kendeigh, 50, of Henrietta Township, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Lake Pointe Health Center in Lorain, following a two year illness. Jeff was born March 4, 1964 in Amherst. He was a lifetime resident of Henrietta Township, and attended Firelands High School.
Jeff was self employed as a landscaper and loved being outdoors. As a teenager, he learned how to play the electric bass guitar playing into his adult years. He enjoyed playing in the bands Missing Link and Ragged Glory. His hobbies included watching NASCAR, antiques and genealogy.
Survivors include his son, Andrew Kendeigh of Norwalk; daughter, Amber Kendeigh of Lorain; his grandchildren, Sophie, Bentley, Jessika, Arianna and Delora; his mother, Dolores Ann Kendeigh (nee Sapienza) of Oberlin; his brothers and their wives, Allen E. and Mary Lou Kendeigh of Amherst, Robert W. and Linda Kendeigh of Oberlin; his sisters, Charlene M. Kellgren and her husband Richard of Boardman, Ohio and Jennifer A. Kendeigh of Salem, Oregon; his friend, Barbara Kendeigh of Elyria; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Earl Kendeigh.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date by the family.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Lake Pointe Health Center and New Life Hospice for exemplary care they provided to Jeff and his family.
