Andrew P. Udovich “Pete”, 55, of Elyria died Friday, May 23, 2014 at the Cleveland Clinic after a long illness. Pete was born June 26, 1958 in Elyria to the late Andrew and Eleanor (nee Kavalecz) Udovich.
He served in the United States Army. Pete worked at Aztec Chemical before becoming disabled in 1996. He enjoyed the outdoors, watching old war movies, and most of all, spending time with his family. He was a devoted father to his children.
Pete is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Linda (nee Gibson); his children, Sheryl (Marco), Andrea (Josh), Kristina (Chris), Crystal (John), and Andrew Pete, Jr. (Emily); his grandchildren, Tyler, Dylon, Alexander, Kailey, Michael, and an unborn grandson; and his siblings, Dana, Laurie, Ted, and Amy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Eleanor.
The family would like to thank the Cleveland Clinic for their compassion and care, and Keystone Point for their care of Pete over the past several weeks.
