In this day and age, who in their right mind would put cooper downspouts on their house? Not only does it invite theft but it’s expensive.

    • jz

Yeah. I think I’ll put copper gutters and downspouts around my whole house with a sign saying Heroin addicts help yourself.

    • Rick Miller

I doubt they were new you moron.

  • stargazer2012

The law has to go after the scrap yards that accept copper.

    • Rick Miller

Riiiight, that’s all the cops would have time for. We can just forget about all the real crime and just worry about the scrappers. Do you people ever think?

  • tickmeoff

This is a time when a nosy neighbor would be an asset. You have to look out for each other.

  • DonMega

Put out your copper downspouts then wait in your garage with your gun-case closed.

Steel gutters will rust, plastic will break from snow and ice, aluminum will corrode, and the copper will last FOREVER!
